Mystery Pub Crawl: The Curious Case of the Fiery Temper

Incantrix Productions returns to the Malden Gaming District with another popular murder mystery pub crawl. Explore multiple locations connected to a fictitious murder… locations that are also conveniently drinking establishments! But this is not just a pub crawl – at each location you will encounter interesting characters who will present you with challenges and puzzles to unlock the mystery behind the murder. Decide who to help, and see if you can solve the crime!

Starting Location: Pearl St. Station – 53 Summer St, Malden, MA 02148
This is an easy 15-minute walking course and all locations are ADA accessible. There is plenty of parking in the area should you need to drive from one location to the next and accessible parking and entry to the spaces.

What to Expect
In this noir detective adventure pub crawl– inspired by the writings of Malden-born Erle Stanley Gardner and some real Malden history– you and your companions will be taking on the role of private investigators. You will visit four different bar/restaurant locations and meet a host of interactive characters, and interview them. Many of them will have pen & paper puzzles that you can solve to further unlock clues about the case. At the end of your adventure, by analyzing the clues and motive, means, and opportunity, you will try and identify who is the culprit!

Tickets are spread out in 20 minute increments beginning at 5pm with the event wrapping by 10pm. Choose the time slot for your group to show up and begin your adventure. Depending on the pace of your group it can take anywhere from 1 – 3 hours to complete. You set the pace based on how long you take to solve the challenges and linger at each location to enjoy food and drink.
